The Edit - Penny Calder
You may have seen our recent interview with Penny Calder on her Vogue magazine collection. With 1100 in her stash, you could say she's an expert curator. So of course we had to ask her to do an edit of our online store!
It's not just the smooth pages of Vogue that appeal to Penny, she's also fond of collecting Chanel which began with some early pieces she found on Trademe when it first started. Her love of fashion was inherited from her grandmother - a milliner that worked for a lot of Kiwi designers during the 40’s to 60s. Penny describes her fashion as classic – appreciating trends but not being drawn to them. Back in the day she loved Dior designers like Gianfranco Ferré, Jean Muir, and the luxury British label Connolly. These days, Jil Sander and The Row.
